“I wanted to build something different. A place where people felt heard, valued, and cared for, not just another number in a waiting room.” Dr. Shear, who trained with Dr. Cloud and had worked previously at Wyoming Medical Center, returned to Casper in 2020 from Texas to join Dr. Cloud when he heard what Dr. Cloud was building. They were thrilled to be able to recruit Dr. Luis A. Armstrong last year with his advanced fellowship training and expertise in cutting edge therapeutic endoscopy. Together, they have built a handpicked team including highly trained, compassionate advanced practice providers and dedicated medical assistants all united in their commitment to patient-first care. That initial vision became a reality with Digestive Care Specialists, a locally owned and operated practice.
